When I connected the AirPort Extreme back up it was running consistently at 90-95 Mbps on wireless, and a bit higher on an Ethernet connection.

Don: I struggled with this problem after Comcast installed a powerful new wireless router combo in our house. All my AirPort Express units went non-functional, and I tried every "restore to factory settings" combo under the sun. Ultimately, I believe Apple and Comcast devices aren't made to work together. The purchase price of Apple Airport Extreme is kind of ridiculous. But this is an one-time investment. I hook up the router for one Macbook Pro, one netbook (Windows OS), iPod Touch, and an iPad with no problems. The speed is super fast and you can print wireless from any of the devices connected to the router.
